Service Requests

Every client request has an owner and an age.

The client asks on WhatsApp, someone says “I'll handle it”, and three days later nobody knows. In GrowOn every request gets a number, a type, an owner and a status, and counts its own age in days.

Raising a request

Write it down the moment the client asks.

Raise a request from the Service Requests page: pick the client from your book, choose the type, and name who is handling it. It gets a number such as SR-10428 straight away, so the client and your team can refer to the same thing.

From then on the request carries its own status and its own age. Nobody has to remember who promised what on which call.

  • Raised from the Service Requests page, client picked from your book
  • Numbered from the start, like SR-10428
  • A type, an owner and a status on every request

Ageing

A request that sits still turns red on its own.

Every row shows how many days the request has been open. Past thirty days it turns red, and the count of requests over thirty days sits at the top of the page.

Open and in-progress requests that are ageing also reach the morning list of the person who owns them, so the oldest ones get seen before the client has to ask again.

  • Days open on every row
  • Red past thirty days, with the count at the top
  • Ageing requests on the owner's morning list
  • Service Request Ageing as one of the twenty-six reports

Types and statuses

Thirteen request types ready. Add your own.

A new firm starts with thirteen request types: Bank Change, Nominee Update, Address Change, SIP Modification, Redemption, Switch, KYC Issue, Mandate Issue, Transmission, Login Issue, Statement Request, Complaint and Other.

The list is your firm's to change. Add the types your clients actually ask for. Each request moves through Open, In Progress, Waiting on Client, Completed or Cancelled, so a request held up by the client is never confused with one nobody has touched.

By client

See every request a client has raised.

The Service Requests by Client report shows how many requests each client has raised, how many are still open and how many are completed, so before a review you know who has been asking for help and whether it was given.

Read it on screen or take it into Excel, like every other report in GrowOn.
